Encroaching Darkness

Drew this in class today. Only we were sitting out side in front of the Art Building. Our Model was laying on a chaise wrapped in a bed sheet that took on the form of a toga. Anyway at that point I was sitting in front of him with the sun on me when I drew this. Then I moved under the tree and the light was obstructed some by the leaves and that's what made these strange shadows. So I took a picture with my cell phone camera an this is the result. I'm impressed.
